Mountain House's villages will soon house a school at the center of each neighborhood, which includes Wicklund and Bethany Elementary Schools. Lammersville Elementary School is within a short distance from the community. Currently, the Lammersville Elementary School District is serving the educational needs of Mountain House's K-8 students. High school students attend the schools of nearby Tracy, and plans for a future high school within Mountain House are currently in the works. High school graduates and adult learners interested in obtaining a degree or certificate in higher education can do so at the San Joaquin Delta College in neighboring Tracy. A satellite campus of San Joaquin Delta Community College is currently in the works and will be housed at the Delta College Center at Mountain House, a 114-acre campus with over 84,000 square feet of space.
PARKS & RECREATION
Residents of Mountain House have access to two large parks: Central Park and Mountain House Creek Recreation Area, which is a combination of a wildlife preserve and storm detention facility. Pedestrian, jogging, and biking trails are also found winding throughout Mountain House for the benefit of residents. Other smaller community parks can also be found throughout Mountain House. A par-72 golf course located inside the community is also available for the benefits of duffers and advanced players alike.
For water creation such as boating, fishing, swimming and windsurfing, residents can head on over to the Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area, located just seven miles off of Interstate 580. Visitors can take advantage of the California Aqueduct Bikeway and check out the many windmills that line the trail.

Residents of Mountain House are only a 40 minute drive away from the metropolitan city of Stockton and all of its recreational, entertainment and cultural amenities. Some of these events include the San Joaquin Children's Film Festival, the Stockton Asparagus Festival, Penny Day at the Park for Literacy Awareness, The Stockton Festival of Lights and Boat Parade, The Greek Festival, Earth Day Festival, Lunar New Year, and Chapman Family Days Picnic, among many others.
